Yoga Classes, Workshop, 1:1 Sessions & Professional Teacher Trainings

With over 16 years of experience teaching yoga, movement, and dance, my work blends classical yoga practice with insights from dance, cultural movement traditions, and embodied awareness. My training includes influences from the Kripalu method, Ayurveda, and Yin Yoga, and the curriculum offered through Nine Lions Yoga School follows a Hatha–Yin hybrid approach that balances strength, structure, and restoration.

Today, much of my focus is dedicated to training the next generation of teachers through my

Yoga Teacher Training programs, sharing nearly two decades of teaching experience with students who feel called to guide others.

About your teacher

My name is Nawal El Tememi

Nawal discovered yoga at 24, and it has been her anchor ever since. With over 15 years of teaching experience and thousands of hours shared with students worldwide, she brings both depth and heart to her trainings.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher and founder of her own school, Nawal is honored to guide others on the path to becoming teachers. Her approach blends classical yoga with somatic movement, energy practices, and coaching, offering a grounded yet expansive foundation.

She believes yoga is not only a personal practice, but also a powerful tool to ripple change into communities — and she is committed to giving her trainees the skills and support to create their own anchors in a fast-changing world.
